Networks & Professional Presence
The workshop “Networks & Professional Presence”, organised by AGMD, is aimed primarily at young dance professionals and shows them how networks are created and nurtured.
How do you build a network? What is it good for? When and how do you use it? How should one present oneself professionally? And what exactly does “professional presence” mean? What does everyday reality look like for choreographers searching for dancers? For programmers reviewing applications? And for young professionals entering the field?
In this workshop, young performing artists and choreographers, production managers and dance mediators receive practical tools and benefit from the know-how and experience of colleagues and speakers.
With theoretical input from Barbara Yvelin and Adrian Rumali; a workshop on self-confidence, mental preparation and preparing for pitch situations with Rossana Caldarera; an exchange with performers under 30 (Tilouna Morel, Akané Nussbaum) and young choreographers (Léa Deschaintres/Cie Santoor; Baptiste Cazaux). In addition, selection and programming platforms will be presented and explained. In French.
