After 25 years working at ADC – Association pour la danse contemporaine and eight years as its director, alongside choreographer Cindy Van Acker, Anne Davier is leaving the institution at the end of May. She will be succeeded on June 1, 2025 by Lou Colombani.

For her first season 2026/2027, Lou Colombani, who comes from Marseille, wants to explore the diversity of contemporary dance while creating local, national and international alliances for the benefit of artists. Her concept, dedicated to choreographic creation and its diffusion, aims to support artists at all stages of their careers. And, by listening to the needs of the artists, it can develop and evolve. It promises to be a rich program, one that explores the diversity of the recent history of contemporary dance and opens a new, diverse and inclusive chapter. The Pavillon ADC invites Genevans to actively participate in the implementation of the concept.

Lou Colombani is thrilled to take over the management of the ADC: “I am very happy to join the ADC in Geneva. What a wonderful place, what great work has been done by Anne Davier and her entire team! It is a great pleasure to succeed her and write the next chapter.” She is in her forties, has a degree in acting from the Conservatoire National de Région in Marseille, and a Master's in dramaturgy and dramaturgical writing from the University of Aix-Marseille, where she completed a training course in the performing arts. In 2006, she founded and subsequently directed the “Parallèle“ platform in Marseille, which is dedicated to promoting young artists. She also initiated and helped shape “Be My Guest“, an international network of emerging practices supported by Pro Helvetia, whose members include the Théâtre Saint-Gervais and the Festival Belluard. At the same time, Lou Colombani taught for nine years at the University of Aix-Marseille and is a regular member of juries and selection committees for the support of artistic creation, particularly in the field of choreography.
