The Taskforce Culture assesses the parliamentary decision of March 2026 critically: despite some mitigation, the cuts remain harmful to the cultural sector. As culture is closely linked to education, media, and social cohesion, such savings weaken innovation and democracy.

The Taskforce therefore calls for adjustments in the upcoming budget debates. Most professional associations, including Danse Suisse, are members of the Taskforce.
