Swiss Performing Arts Awards 2025
The Federal Office of Culture (FOC) has announced the names of the winners of the Swiss Performing Arts Awards 2025, which will be presented on October 10, 2025, at the Théâtre Equilibre in Fribourg in the presence of Federal Councillor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider.
These awards provide an overview of outstanding achievements in the performing arts in Switzerland – from the distinguished career of dancer and choreographer Thomas Hauert, to the innovative approach of emerging theatre artist Annina Mosimann, to the remarkable dance and theatre productions of Clara Delorme and Julia Perazzini. The nine prizes awarded to individuals and institutions reflect the vibrancy, diversity, and depth of Switzerland’s dance and theatre landscape.
Swiss Grand Award for Performing Arts / Hans Reinhart Ring
Thomas Hauert, who has headed the Bachelor’s program in Contemporary Dance at the University of Performing Arts La Manufacture since 2013, receives the Swiss Grand Award for Performing Arts / Hans Reinhart Ring in recognition of his career as a choreographer and dancer.

The application phase for the Swiss Performing Arts Awards 2026 begins on September 30. Applications must be submitted via the Funding Contributions Platform. The awards support creation, recognition, and outreach in the performing arts, while strengthening their national and international visibility.
