Raised in Basel, Kaltuk quickly made a name for himself in the Swiss hip-hop scene. His first artistic experiences led him to Tanzwerk101, the Higher Professional School for Contemporary and Urban Stage Dance in Zurich. With the skills acquired there, he developed his own style – a unique blend of hip-hop and contemporary dance, inspired by social, political, and personal themes. Today, he is a renowned choreographer, touring internationally with his company MEK, which he will continue to lead in Switzerland alongside his engagement in Germany.
