From artistic–pedagogical training for children to radical inclusion in the performing arts — HSLU and HKB are launching new degree programmes. The Bachelor “Music and Movement” and the CAS “Performing Arts and Inclusion”, developed together with the Accademia Dimitri (SUPSI), provide two paths for shaping the future of dance and movement in dynamic, accessible ways.

The continuing education programme “Performing Arts and Inclusion” at HKB elevates inclusion to a creative practice. It is a radically inclusive programme bringing together artists and performers with and without disabilities to develop participatory, interdisciplinary working methods. Half of the lecturers live with a disability, ensuring that inclusion is genuinely lived. Application deadline: 1 December 2025.

The Bachelor “Music and Movement” at HSLU is a three-year programme focusing on holistic, physical and kinetic music education for children and young people. Students can choose their stylistic focus (Classical, Pop, Jazz or Folk) and their main area (instrument, voice or New Movement Culture). The programme prepares graduates to work in music schools, public schools and recreational institutions, fostering an innovative, movement-oriented approach.
