Danse Suisse – the dynamic professional association
The office and board of Danse Suisse remain dynamic. Personnel changes are underway, and with two new board members, fresh momentum is on the horizon.
Nothing is as constant as change (Heraclitus of Ephesos)
After around 15 years with the association, we say thank you to Michaela Bosshard. With great dedication, she shaped the promotion of young talent and further developed summerdance and the Talentscouting Days. Her commitment, foresight, and passion have left a lasting mark. Michaela is now beginning a new chapter as Administrative Director of the Ballet Academy at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich. We are grateful for the many years together and wish her all the best!
At the same time, we are pleased to welcome back Laura Jaeggi after her maternity leave. As of October 1, she will take on a new role as Project Manager for Education, leading the vocational guidance days – called Talentscouting Days. With her expertise, experience in dance, and evident enthusiasm, she is the ideal choice. Welcome back, dear Laura!
The board is also evolving: on September 5 and 6, 2025, the management and board gathered for a retreat. Together they discussed and refined Danse Suisse’s projects, sharpened ideas, and recharged their energy. With the new board members Gabriel Obergfell and Aldo Magno, a breath of fresh air is joining the team. Collaboration within the board is focused, solution-oriented, dynamic, and not least, humorous. Danse Suisse is full of motivation, and we look forward to shaping this journey together with our members.
