Prix de Lausanne 2025
The nine winners of the 2025 Prix de Lausanne have announced their choice of school or partner ensemble, which they will join next season.
South Korean YounJae Park, winner of the 1st Scholarship and the Prize for the Best Young Talent, has chosen the American Ballet Theatre and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School. Eric Poor from the USA, winner of the Scholarship for Young Talent, will attend the École de Danse de l'Opéra national de Paris. Shinnosuke Yasuumi from Japan, winner of the 3rd scholarship and the audience award, which is presented with the support of ARTE Concert and the Foundation for Choreography, will go to the Houston Ballet II. The 4th scholarship goes to Hanxi Wang from China, who has chosen the Bavarian Junior Ballet. American Hector Jain has declined the “Jeune Étoile” scholarship, and Japanese Seia Oishi will take his place, but has not yet decided on a school. Ryan Handa from the USA receives the 6th scholarship and will go to the Royal Swedish Ballet. Japanese Hono Hamasaki receives the 7th scholarship and has chosen the Royal Ballet School. Bogyeong Kim from South Korea receives the eighth scholarship and will go to Boston Ballet II. The ninth scholarship goes to Jakob Wheway Hughes from Great Britain, who receives the prize for contemporary interpretation and the audience award, supported by ARTE Concert and the Fondation en faveur de l'Art Chorégraphique. He will go to the English National Ballet.
