summerdance is a specific talent development program for young dancers, aimed at students in arts & sports programs or in pre-professional training who train at least 10 lessons per week. summerdance thus serves as a platform which ties in with the Talent Scoutingdays and forms a bridge to professional dance training.

As the period for summerdance24 is outside the school vacations in some cantons, an exemption from school lessons can be requested from Danse Suisse.

Latest News: We are delighted that Moritz Fischli, a participant in summerdance23, has been selected for the role of Billy Elliott in the Swiss musical production of the same name. Nomen est Omen: during his time at summerdance23 Moritz was assigned to the group “Billy Elliot”. We wish the young dancer every success!
