The City of Bern has awarded the operation of the Dampfzentrale cultural center from 2028 onward to the Dampfzentrale Association, the organization that currently manages the venue, based on its “Plan D” concept.

Among the recipients of the highly competitive 2027/28 Landis & Gyr Studio Scholarships is a Danse Suisse member: performer, choreographer, and dancer Niki Anjes Stalder has been awarded a residency scholarship for London.

Founded in 1986, AVDC is the professional association for contemporary dance in the Canton of Vaud. In 2026, it celebrates its anniversary with a variety of events, including a week of workshops in early June.
