RESO PROJECT CALLS 2027/28

The Swiss Dance Network Reso is seeking works for two of its upcoming projects: Tanzfest 2027 and Swiss Dance Days 2028. Applicants must be Swiss dance companies or companies based in Switzerland.

LUGANO DANCE PROJECT – “DANCE & HERITAGE” LOOKING BACK AND MOVING FORWARD

The Lugano Dance Project (June 10–14), featuring both international and Swiss productions, once again provided a platform where cultures, collectives, artistic expressions, and identities came together under this year’s theme, “Dance & Heritage.”

NANI KHAKSHOURI, L’ART DE RELIER LES MONDES

Figure discrète mais incontournable de la danse suisse depuis plus de trois décennies, Nani Khakshouri a contribué à façonner l’écosystème chorégraphique du pays sans jamais chercher la lumière. Pionnière du management culturel en Suisse alémanique, communicante, productrice, enseignante et bâtisseuse de réseaux, elle a accompagné des générations d’artistes, imaginé des projets d’envergure et défendu une vision ouverte de la danse. Rencontre avec une femme qui préfère les coulisses à la scène, mais dont l’empreinte est partout.

WINTERTHUR DANCE FESTIVAL: SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED FOR A WORKSHOP LED BY RAFAËLE GIOVANOLA, WINNER OF THE “DEUTSCHER TANZPREIS 2027”

Ten scholarships are being offered for this year’s Tanzfestival Winterthur as part of a workshop led by award-winning choreographer Rafaële Giovanola (founder of CocoonDance and Danse Suisse member).

The Origen Cultural Foundation (Nova Fundaziun Origen) is taking over the historic Hotel Pianta in Savognin. After several years of vacancy, Origen intends to revitalize the hotel through a diverse cultural program.

taZ CURTAIN UP 2026 – VOCATIONAL TRAINING IN THE SPOTLIGHT

The “taZ – Curtain Up!” performances by the Zurich Dance Academy, presented on June 27 and 28 at Theater Winterthur and again on July 5 at Zurich Opera House, represent the performative highlight of the current graduating class and an important milestone in their professional training.
